“Coaching” and “Mentoring” have become well known terminologies in the workplace and many managers will claim that they ‘coach’ their staff. The reality, however, is that few leaders actually have the competencies and mindset to do this effectively and few have received quality training in the ‘art’.

Quiver Management has designed two highly targeted coaching and mentoring training programmes for leaders and professionals to fill this gap. The programmes are designed to be efficient, practical, relevant and directly applicable to these groups’ work environment. The training programmes are not designed to develop full-time professional coaches or mentors, but to inspire and enable leaders and professionals to use coaching and mentoring to enhance their impact within their current roles.

Coaching and Mentoring for Leaders

This programme is designed to provide leaders and line managers with the competencies, mindset and confidence to use coaching and mentoring to develop their team members’ performance.

Coaching and Mentoring for Professionals

This programme is designed for people who wish to use a coaching and/or mentoring style to enhance the impact of their professional services to colleagues or clients. The target group includes internal experts (project managers, HR, finance, risk, legal etc.) as well as external professionals (consultants, solicitors, accountants etc.).

Programme outline

Both programmes consists of

  • A 2-day intensive competency training workshop
  • 6-8 weeks of coaching practise in the work environment supported by supervision
  • Feedback and assessment
